Hair removal – Waxing

Afrina Academy is offering 2 levels of Hair Removal-Waxing training, depending on the student’s skills. The students will be tested on the orientation day and according to their skills evaluated they will be directed to 2 levels of Basic / Beginner and Advance.

Basic / Beginner Waxing Course

12 hours-3 days -For 2 Weeks (2 hours session)

This course is ideal for complete beginners to waxing and without any previous qualifications.

Warm waxing is one of the most popular salon treatments all year round, giving your business an excellent regular income. This course covers all areas of face and body (Without Bikini) waxing using the pot and spatula system.

Correct technique and practice are taught along with client care and consultation, contra indications and giving the correct after care advice. Hair growth cycle and its relationship to waxing are also covered.

This Course will cover the following topics:

• Hygiene, health and safety
• Learn how to ensure top standards of health and hygiene for your surroundings, self and your clients
• Relevant anatomy and physiology
• Learn about the hair and its growth cycle in relation to waxing treatments

• How to perform waxing for best technique and results

Students will undergo practical and written exams to receive the Afrina Academy Official Diploma attested from KHDA.

In professional Hot Waxing and stripless waxing course, students will learn how to perform the application and removal of hot wax to the face, bikini area, and full body.
