Afrina Academy is offering 3 levels of hairstyle training. Depending on the student’s skills evaluation through testing on the orientation day, they will be guided to the suitable level.

16 hours – 4 weeks course, 2 times a week, 2 hours per session

The Basic hairstyling course will guide and educate the student with the principles of hair styling. This level course is designed for the beginners seeking to become skilled professional hairdressers and it is mainly focusing on different blow dry and hair style techniques, updos, Rollers…

The course will concentrate on the practical training aspects and the students will be able to practice on mannequin’s hair.

5. Perform all duties of a hairstylist in accordance with industry health and safety standards related to hygiene, sanitation and disinfection practices
6. Use and maintain tools and equipment according to industry standards

8. Identify the structure and functions of the skin and the hair and recognize possible disease and disorders
9. Perform shampooing, conditioning and scalp massaging services using the correct manipulations and professional haircare products
10. Technical evaluation of the clients face shape and hair type integrated with her required style

If the student has already done the basic hairstyle course and are interested in perfecting their technical skills, this course can benefit them greatly. This level is also designed for professional hairdressers who need to enhance their technical techniques.
